Afterthoughts: Gone Maybe Gone [SEASON 6 PREMIERE]

“Welcome Back Upper Eastsiders, call me superstitious, but I got a feeling this fall could be my last season. Let’s face it, I’ve been at this a long time, but age breeds wisdom and this I know… the best has yet to come.”

– Gossip Girl

Well Gossip Girl is back and entering it’s last and finale season! And for the first of 10 final episodes, it wasn’t too shabby. Good job Gossip Girl, you only made me cringe on certain parts! And while I may have sobbed my eyes out now and again, I can’t help but be a little anxious. Now I know, it’s a little crazy for me to be even a bit anxious… but there’s something in my stomach, fluttering,  Could it be… butterflies?

Set pic from Kelly’s twitter – July 5th

Heya! Today filming started and they shot indoors. Thanks to Kelly Rutherford, our beloved Lily, we got a picture of Ed and Robert John Burke aka Bart Bass. She also tweeted a picture of her and Matt and with Robert. No Leighton in sight for now, and from the background behind Ed, I’d say they filmed something at the Van der Basses’ penthouse. Ed looks good and I love the suit he’s wearing. Finally something more eccentric, we haven’t seen Chuck dressed with exaggerate patterns since S3. Hopefully tomorrow they might film outside and we may get more pictures.

Kristin Spoilers – February 9th

Maura: Please, something, anything on Chuck and Blair on Gossip Girl! Or just Chuck? I’ll take anything.
A source tells us that Chuck will continue to wrestle with his feelings for Blair (even though she’s currently distracted by Dan), so the Bass-meister certainly hasn’t let her go yet. But in even juicier scoop, Chuck is going to learn some “surprising news about himself.” Get ready, y’all.

Of Skyscrapers, Forgiveness and New Beginnings – I Am No. 9 Podcast

A bit long recap and again, a bit chaotic, but we hope you’ll enjoy it and tell us what you think. xoxo, CBthePP

Limoversary Podcast

We tried to make a decent podcast to celebrate the Limoversary but we failed because we didn’t even wish you guys a happy CB day and we were all over the place. I hope you’ll forgive us because it’s our first audio post together, we promise to get better at it since I’m sure it won’t be the last time we make one (we had a lot of fun). So enjoy and give us some feedback. Happy Limoversary from CBthePP, xoxo

5.05 The Fasting and the Furious – Recap

Boring, boring and uneventful episode. Since there will be a break of one week (5.06 will air on Nov. 7) I figured we would have got more juicy info, but we instead had some confused stuff. I find the stuff we’ve got at the end of the epi (only part I find noteworthy) relevant for our future anyway.

The few things I liked from this epi were the scene with Chuck/Dan and then Chuck/Nate. Blair and Eleanor final scene, and Dan and Serena’s last scene. I am interested in who the heck Diana is to Chuck, but until that story unfolds, I don’t care.I hate how they’re making Blair act, she’s being weak and controlled by the Grimaldi’s, and that’s not the Blair we love. She’s doing everything she can to keep her fairytale bs still on, but she’s realizing every thing has a price, and that a fairytale is anything but fairy and happiness. Most of princes marry because they HAVE to.

My vote for this epi is 5/10.
