Gossip Girl Acapulco

Hello, guys! Long time, no writing. I haven’t been very busy as per se, but there wasn’t anything major to post lately *sad face*. This is why I am writing this post to introduce you – if you haven’t been introduced already – to Gossip Girl Acapulco. For those of you who have moved on after our GG ended, GGA is the Mexican version of the show, except that is set in Latin America. The characters are the same, but they have different names and some also have different backgrounds. Everything was changed to fit with the beautiful scenario of Acapulco, but not everything-everything. This version of the show is inspired to the US one and their writers have took the chance to use the same dialogues as the real Gossip Girl. Naturally, not each episode is similar, but most of it. Is like seeing our very Gossip Girl in Spanish. And what would be GG without our beloved Chuck and Blair?

Gossip Girl Acapulco has its own version of Chair, embodied in their hispanic alter-egos, Max and Barbara. They are not Ed and Leighton, of course, but they are very believable as our bitch and king couple, in their Mexican set. And they are very hot, trust me. I have yet to watch the episode where they hook up, but I have seen gifs of it and it was NICE.
If you are interested in GGA, it airs from Mon to Fri in Mexico.  And if you don’t know how to watch, message me on our twitter and I’ll provide links for you. 😉

Some Ed and Leighton dress fitting pics from the GG wardrobe

Hey all! I break this absence of news with these cute dress fitting pictures of Ed and Leighton. Mostly, they are from episode 4.08, but you can see them dressed up for the beginning of 1.12 and Ed for 4.18 and both for 4.09. Ed is even more hot with his out-of-bed hair! Thanks to an anonymous reader who emailed these pictures to me! ENJOY.

Season 6 DVD Artwork

GossipGirl_S6_f

It’s finally here, the last artwork for the last DVD of Gossip Girl ever. I must say I like it, but I don’t really adore that grey they chose. Glad that they put pictures we saw on the show but from other prospectives, and that there are so much Chuck and Blair ones (Ed is so damn hot in that picture from the trunk scene!).

To remind you, the Season 6 DVD will be released in the UK on February 11th, 2013 and it’s priced at £17.99 (22.00 euros circa, for those of you European like me).  I have already pre-ordered it because the price is not bad at all, but you can wait a few months and I’m sure the price will go down. You can pre-order it here.

While, if you are American or you want to order the DVD from Amazon US, it will cost you $27.86 (21.00 euros circa) because right now it’s discounted a little. You can pre-order it here. This item will be released on February 19th, 2013.

6.10 New York, I Love You, XOXO – FASHION

Hi! This may be the last fashion post about GG, ever. I’m sad! Because you know how much I love(d) the fashion of this show. I hope there will be more reasons in the future to post outfits over here, I could probably post Leighton’s after she attends an event. We’ll see… anyhow, I liked the fashion of this episode. The velvet dress grew on me and all the rest. The wedding dress and entire ensamble was AWESOME. I’m biased towards Elie Saab as you may know – and the fact that they used Zanotti peep-toes made me so happy. The headband was great too, I’m so sad that it is worth a lot of money or else I would have bought it. lol. If you want to take a look at Blair’s headbands made by the designer who also created the wedding one, you can look on her website. I also loved Blair’s flashforward dress and everything. And of course, I loved each one of Chuck’s outfits too. He was wearing a McQueen suit in the FF. 🙂 And I was in love with the fact that their son Henry was matching his daddy. ❤  Here you can find Blair’s fashion for the 9th episode and the ID of the outfit she’s also worn at the beginning of this last one.

eonline interview with SS: “For me and JS, we always felt that those guys were endgame for each other.”

Chuck and Blair were “always” endgame.

Dan was almost (accidentally) revealed as Gossip Girl in the very first episode.

Jack and Georgina totally would have been a thing if the scheduling worked out.

And Jenny Humphrey’s supercool job in the future was revealed—but you may have missed it!

We just got off the phone with executive producer Stephanie Savage to ask our lingering questions about last night’s series finale of Gossip Girl. So if you are a fan, we highly recommend you read the following Q&A, which also reveals why Lily didn’t end up with Rufus, and where Vanessa is now…

TVGuide Interview with SS about the finale

610 - 3bFor six seasons, anonymous blogger Gossip Girl has been able to uncover pretty much any secret and sordid scandal about S, B, Lonely Boy and the rest of the Upper East Side. It’s ironic, considering what the series producers had to do to keep the identity of the unapologetically nosy snitch under wraps until Monday’s Gossip Girl series finale (8/7c on The CW).

“It’s been very nerve-wracking for me to try to keep it a secret,” co-creator and executive producer Stephanie Savage tells TVGuide.com of the many precautions taken to keep the name concealed. “But I’m excited for people to find out. The cast and crew were definitely excited when they found out so I’m hoping our fans have the same reaction.”

The show’s crew went to these great lengths to protect a secret that almost even didn’t make it into the finale at all. “We always had an idea in our minds of who Gossip Girl was, which we needed to be able to tell our stories, but we were never sure if we were going to reveal that,” Savage says. “We weren’t sure that that was something that the audience would want to know. Maybe they would like the idea of not knowing who Gossip Girl was.”
